The mission of the Foundation is to go into the highways and byways, seeking initiatives that develop the spiritual and human potential of people and communities on the margins.

Earth in Hands.jpgFounded by the Missionary Sisters of Service, we continue to live out their vision and spirit with a preferential option for people on the margins – geographically, economically, culturally, socially or spiritually, particularly those in rural and regional communities.
We seek to open doors for people to be empowered to live life to the full, creating a more inclusive society that celebrates diversity and respect for all peoples.

We seek to support the formation of individuals and groups for leadership for a more just and compassionate world, through experiences and/or courses that facilitate and encourage the mission of God through opportunities which:

  • focus on the personal and spiritual formation of people and groups;
  • develop leadership and other skills which will benefit the wider community;
  • emphasise social justice, including eco-justice, healthy commDeaf camp Tas Nov 2016 2unity relationships and structures, and the practice of a sustainable way of life;
  • Assist people, particularly young adults, to develop a sound grounding in their own faith tradition as a foundation for entering into dialogue and cooperation with people of goodwill of various faiths and cultures for the building up of healthy harmonious communities.
